A surprise inside

2020 was a dumpster of COVID, though there's one way to make it a good one, get engaged. James reached out to me, flustered and unsure how to capture the moment. So we hatched da plan.

 

First, Evan's sister reached out to the two of them to connect them with me for my "MFA thesis." Evan picked up the spear, and we made 'plans' while James and I figured out the signal for him to go down on a knee. We started with headshots, then moved into cuddly poses. And then? I asked Evan to face forward for a specific pose.

"I have a different pose in mind," James said as he went down on one knee.
